June 6th Deep drop Virginia Beach Fishing Trip
Fishing for Mahi at middlegrounds
Change of plans today, as yesterday’s Cobia fishing was not so hot and today’s customers wanted Cobia, I told them maybe we should go and try for Mahi at the middle grounds and thats just what we did and came out on top, we also stopped at a wreck on the way home and picked up some nice Black Sea Bass and a keeper flounder.

Today we were on the fence about going offshore in search of Wahoo and Tuna but we decided to go and just come in early when the wind came up, lines were in at 7:15am and right off the bat we had a triple knock down of Tuna’s, two came off but one 59 pounder made it in, lines back in and we picked off a few Blackfin Tina then the planer rod went off and we boated a 48 pound Wahoo, trolled til noon and headed to the barn with plenty of meat.

The seas were angry and large today but our customers hung in there and caught their 4 man limit of Spanish Mackerels in less than 2 hours time.

Black Sea Bass and Spadefish
We left the dock for our Fishing Charter in Virginia Beach to go Black Sea Bass fishing and on the way out we made a quick stop and found the Spadefish milling around so we spent a short period of time catching our limit in no time. The we headed out to a few wrecks and the Black Bass were biting well until the current stopped, great day, great customers.
