Fishing for White and Blue Marlin is one of the most spectacular
offshore trips you can go on. Trolling along and sometimes watching a big fin and or Bill sweeping through our spread and waiting for which bait it decides to eat is a heart pounding experience to say the least.
Once bait is taken, Marlin are sure to provide us with many jumps and putting on a show you will never forget !
Strategies we use to catch Marlin
A lot of times we have out a random spread of baits out that many pelagic fish will eat
and the Marlin seem to take them quite often. If we are specifically fishing for Marlin we tend to use a lot of naked baits on the smaller side for White Marlin and much bigger baits if we are searching for the big Blue Marlins.
Live baiting with tinker mackerels is another extremely productive way to
target Marlin
